I would like to open up this week's Newsletter with an apology to the Jackson family and especially Alice Jackson who was our first female Junior Captain, I'm so sorry that I over looked you in last week's newsletter.
This week I ventured into the world of Pilates as well as starting to work with Matt Larkin Hall on getting my body moving towards the best shape it can be in ready for the 2017 golfing season.
After my first initial examination and some work on my hip I had my best night sleep that I have had, well, since before having children! I'm looking forward to working closely with Matt who is at the club on a Tuesday and Thursday and making progress towards my goals for both on and off the course next year.
On Sunday we hosted a mixture of our assosciate members and This Girl Can Ladies for a fun competition on the short game and for some of them, their first experience playing on the course.
A big thank you to Anne Gawthrope and Lady Vice Captain Jill James for their help and support and encouragement for the ladies.
The Clubs Twitter Feed is really starting to make some progress and getting noticed in the social media world, but that doesn't mean to say we can't get more of us posting about the great times we are having at the club both on and off the course.

The registration sheet for the Christmas Eve Texas Scramble is starting to fill up but still have plenty of space for more. Just a reminder it's open to ALL MEMBERS, Ladies, Silver Members, Country Members and it would be great to see everyone mixing together during this festive period.
Please take a look at my video showing you a practice drill for hitting high, soft landing bunker shots, followed by a video of Henry Featherstone executing the exact same thing in slightly sunnier climates!
Recently we fitted Tom Hanon with a new driver using Trackman Shot Analyser to determine if there was a driver out there that could do a better job than his current one. We found it with the PING G SFTEC.
We then followed this up with a session to see if we could gain anymore distance, we achieved this through a greater wrist hinge and as you can see the length of the swing increased and in Tom's words, " There was comfortably a 10-15% increase in distance, which is really pleasing to see and worth every penny".
Brand New to the shop this week are our very own RGC Headcovers.
These look fantastic so why not pop in and grab one or a couple for yourself. Also you could think about one for a golfing partner, these would look great under the Christmas tree!
I will be choosing one or two items each week to promote in our Ring-Bay collection and this week I would like to put forward a special:
PowaKaddy
One year old PowaKaddy FW3 18 Hole Lithium Trolley with one year warranty left on it and a spare set of winter wheels, in fantastic condition it's a bargain at £285.
