Rejuvenated and refreshed after a great two weeks in Kos, Greece

Myself and the girls had a fab time in Kos with lots of swimming, chilling, reading and not to mention the kids entertainment shows! So I’m back and ready to help those that need me with help on their games as we come into the final stretch of the season.

Renovation work

The renovation work to the greens seems to have been a big success and even though the weather hasn’t been great, it has helped Richie and his team to get the greens settled down.

Shirt Amnesty

We have been running a Shirt Amnesty over the recent weeks and we’re going to continue this for the rest of August, all this entails is to bring any polo shirt in and we will give you £10 OFF a FootJoy shirt for men and Daily sport shirt for ladies. I will then be donating all shirts received to a local charity shop.

Sky training device

We now have the sky training device that can be used for putting through to driving, showing your speed, tempo, path, shaft lean, angle of attack and much more. Call into the shop to be shown how to use it and give it a try. I found it really useful for putting and especially for seeing the length of your stroke and tempo. As we discussed in previous mails that the theme for tempo was a 2:1 or 3:1 ratio, meaning the backswing is two or three times slower than the follow through, but Jordan Spieth has a 1:1 ratio.

The PING and TaylorMade days were a huge success with members discovering how their equipment can perform better for them. Don’t worry if you couldn’t make them as we have the majority of demo products available.
