Weather won't stop us getting better! Well what a September we are having so far at RGC, the weather for a start has been very disappointing to say the least with the last two Saturday competitions cancelled. Firstly due to fog and the President’s Prize was a wash out! Dave Aden has done a great job in re-arranging both the President’s and the Pritchard bowl giving everyone the best opportunity to play. This weather has got me thinking about how we could utilize the current facilities and my answer is we have the Putting room and the technology that can give us the perfect chance to make a big difference next year. As I said before I’ve started to work on my winter plans for clients across their whole game and I’m wondering who would like to putt the bad behind them and join my winter putting school! It would be 10 half an hour individual lessons as well as group workshops. Covering: - Current Putting Stats
- Routine
- Green Reading
- Set up
- Stroke Mechanics
- Path - Face - Alignment - Angle of Attack - Length of stroke - Tempo - Perfect Practice
- Skills Testing
For September we will start by understanding how well you are putting in relation to proximity of the hole. The cost for this will be £220 and places will be limited. |
