What's your performance handicap? Does it reflect in your actual handicap? I mentioned in an earlier newsletter that I kept very busy especially through achieving new qualifications. One of which was TPI, which stands for Titleist Performance Insititue - Click here to learn more. On the picture you can see my own test result which gives me a handicap of 10 because of some dodgy hips! It has straight away allowed me to make some changes to my technique and understand what I can and can not achieve in my swing. Then the option to work with a trainer to improve other areas. It has to be something that is looked at in order to really understand how you construct your game around your body. Not for the reason to make you get in the gym unless that's an area you would like to work on. You can book a screening on it's own, or you can join me for a two hour assesment where we look at every aspect of your game. From driving to putting, you get a handicap for each section, allowing you to confirm your strengths and weaknesses and where best to put your efforts with some expert guidance from myself. |
