Tip of the week
Course visualisation! This golf practice tip is one that everyone can use. It could be especially useful to those of you who are out of ideas for home practice, or if you are getting bored of hitting hundreds of putts in your living room! You may have heard of this before, but course visualisation is very important. In my experience, this has helped me stay out of trouble on the course, even with my wildest shots! As long as you know your game and your bad shots, this tip could really help you. Think about every aspect of your game and write down your strengths and weaknesses for each aspect: Driving, iron play, pitching, chipping and putting. You can even add on extra sections like “irons off the tee”, “fairway woods off the fairway” and “bunker shots” etc. The list is endless, but it’s up to you how precise you want to be. Remember you do not want to have more than one swing thought in your head during your swing! Even though we can’t get out on the course for a little while, you can get a head start with course visualisation. If you are really keen to improve your scores, then you can even write clear, short notes for every hole on the golf course! You will be surprised by how much you can learn about your own game using this method. You will be able to see the safest areas for you to aim for on each shot or the high-risk part of your game that leads to your bad scores on every hole. So, as soon as you get out on the course after lockdown, you instantly have a clear plan in your mind of what you are going to do. This improves your confidence on the golf course which can only be a good thing! New Callaway range I was in a call with the Callaway representatives last week, in which they presented the full range of new Callaway products. I will be reading into the technology involved in detail this week, so if you have any questions for me about any of the new Callaway products then give me a message and I will get back to you ASAP! They have introduced new drivers, fairway woods, irons, hybrids and putters! Here is a list of the all the clubs below:
